-Generating your own leads; a strong network already in place helps tremendously with this
-Disney has some very specific rules to follow and it’s important to stay up to date on how to stay compliant
FAQ:
-How many hours to do you work on JSM? This is up to you! Hours are completely flexible and you’re able to take on a number of bookings that feels comfortable in your schedule.
-Are there minimum bookings we need to reach? There are no minimum bookings but I would like to see you working to get 6 bookings your first year. Each year following we will come up with a personal booking goal that works for you.
-Do you book flights? We can book flights through Disney but often times clients will find it cheaper to book flights on their own.
-Do you have E&O Insurance? Yes. Just So Magical Vacations is covered under E&O insurance. You will sign in your contract responsibility for any errors and omissions you may make and are able to use our insurance.
-Am I an employee? No. You are an independent contractor and will file a 1099. Talk to your accountant about the benefits of tax write offs related to your travel business.
-Will I receive leads through Just So Magical? Some. You are expected to get your own leads and find your own clients but I also farm out leads to agents.
-Am I required to have social media? No, but... This is where most people are going to find you and most of your clients and friends are going to be able to easily share your info! You are responsible for generating your own leads so social media will be a great tool for that!
-Is there a contract? Yes, your initial contract will take you to the end of the year then you will be on a Jan 1-Dec 31 contract each year following.
-I feel like that’s a big investment with the potential for not being paid for awhile? Yes, it can be! I felt that way too. For me personally I knew my family would be traveling within the year and I would make that money back on our travel even if I never booked a single trip. Thankfully I had clients going soon and made my money back right away.
